Kevin Misquith’s CD `Thembe Thembe’ released Nottingham |
12 April, 2012: Kevin Misquith’s much awaited music album `Thembe Thembe’ released on the Easter celebrations held at Nottingham under the flagship of Mangalorean United Konkani Association – MUKA. John Fernandes gave brief insight of Kevin’s achievements at this young age.
The CD was released by Fr. Rudolph Noronha, SJ.
Here are some of achievements by Kevin Misquith.
Kevin is a lead vocalist, a well known singer and composer, Well known among the Konkani music lovers around the world. Making his appearance in the Konkani music scene at a very young age, he has performed consistently since his entry into the music field.
Kevin Misquith released his first Konkani debut album, ‘Rupnem’ in 2004. Following the huge response for his debut album, he released yet another Konakni hit album ‘Tuji Yaad’ in 2007. His latest Konkani rock album, ‘He Jeen’ in 2008, too had a very good response from the Konkani and Non-Konkani music lovers, and was a huge success. ‘He Jeen’ was nominated at the Global Konkani Music Awards and won the award for the ‘Best lyricist’ award and also was nominated in the best composition category. ‘Thembe Thembe’ is his upcoming album.
Not only has produced these albums but also has performed several music concerts across Karnataka, Maharastra, Goa and Kerala and soon will also perform in the middle east i.e in Kuwait, Dubai & Muscat( April13th,20th & 27th), Not only has performed only with his band but has successfully collaborated with various artist and associations as a solo artists and staged several successful solo concerts with other local artists and is soon to perform at various destinations across the world. |
